My memories of Ian

Created by Dee 5 days ago
Ian had a wonderfully calm presence about him. At any party he was an unruffled oasis in the mayhem where I often found myself gravitating to have a chat with him about life. He had a very rich life, well travelled, well read, so many experiences. It was always a pleasure to speak to him. I learnt things from Ian including some gardening tips! It was clear he really enjoyed being outside in his garden or allotment. He was the person who taught me that something called Chamomile grass even existed; this was some years back when I commented on the very spongy grass that was in his and Meera’s back garden :) Above all, it was clear how proud he was of his beautiful children. And of how much he loved them and Meera. I hope these memories provide you with some comfort as you remember your wonderful husband and Daddy.
